Hello,

I was just playing with OPK as I have so many at homes. I did tried to test the day prior to my first day of heavy bleeding. The result was negative, there was no line at all. Today is my third day of heavy menstrual painful period going on 4th day. I want just want to see if I will be fertile. I tested just a minute ago and it turn out positive faint line. It looks like my fertility is here sooner that I think. I am trying to get pregnant. That is why I bought so many Preg test and OPK. Note, that My cycle runs to 30 to 34 days. What do u think? Is there any woman would start their fertile days in the 4th day of cycle and possibly will ovulate 7 to 10 days since AF? Im excited as I need to get going baby dancing so that I will not miss this ovulation day. Anyone? Pray for me as I am dying to have a child. I am 34 and been TTC for 1 year with no luck.

  1. It's very common to see a faint line on an OPK. It does NOT mean that you are about to ovulate. LH is produced in the body all the time and this can show up on a test.

I get a faint line every single day!

The test is only positive if the line is as dark as or darker than the control line.

If your cycle is over 30 days then you are not going to ovulate on day 3. That would give you a cycle of between 14 and 18 days because the time between ovulation and is ALWAYS 10 to 14 days, and that is the case for every single woman in the entire world. For most women it is 13 or 14 days.

Keep testing and you will probably get a true positive in a few weeks. Then BD on that day, and for the 2 days after that.

    Good luck!
