  1. More money in the local economy.

    Crime.

    And a 200 page essay on the subject. Fortunately for me, I don't have to write it. :D

Tourism brings in revenue for the city which is obviously beneficial.  However, non-business owners often find tourism to be a nusiance.  Trying to walk downtown while slow tourists stop in front of you to take photos is one that may annoy others, althought is not a 'negative impact' on a whole.

  3. Traffic on the beach is a pain during tourist season. But you can always be sure that they bring their check books.
