Positive ovulation test, but ONLY 6 DAYS UNTIL PERIOD!!! what is this??!!??!!?

i'm on my 23rd day of my cycle. and am supposed to start in exactly 7 days and i just got a positive OPK. i just took one randomly. i thought that after you ovulated, its at least 14 days until you start your period (luteal phase) whats up with me? my period are pretty regular.

has this happened to you?? what was the result??

also, i have no idea what this would have to do with anything, but last night i was standing in front of the mirror and all of a sudden my nose started bleeding badly into my mouth. (tmi) and i never get bloody noses. my husband and my sister both said, "OMG!! your pregnant" lol.

anywho, what do you think???? if its positive tomorrow AND the next day, i'll probably take a pregnancy test, but i didn't want to give my hopes up so soon.

First off not everyone ovulate at the 12 to 14 day mark. Everyone is diferent so if it said your ovulating take it seriously and get to it! lol Anyway monitor the changes in you fluid down there too. All these things can help you to conceive. Some women even cramp a little when ovulating and can even spot! I suggest starting an ovulation chart that you can track things like this. Just look up ovulation chart online to get blank forms to fill in monthly. This will help you and eventually you will find yourself pregnant.

Everyone's cycles are different..and your cycles can change. I used an electronic ovulation test to get pregnant. After I went off the pill I was having 45 day cycles...and there were some months when I didn't ovulate at all. (I Took the ovulation tests every day.)     So you could be having a weird month..hormone fluctuations as we age cause our cycles to change.  I usually ovulated about day 13 but then got my period between days 30 and 45.  It was crazy. LOL

I got a positive OPK on the same day that I got a positive HPT.  I got my BFP at 11 DPO.  So you may very well be pregnant.  So good luck
