Positives of a facebook?!?

What are the positives of having a facebook?? I really want one but I'm not sure if its like a good thing or just as bad as myspace...

Well, if you're not into social utilities, then you might not like Facebook.

But I'm a user of Facebook, and it's really nice. Facebook got me to meet some of my old classmates i knew long time ago, and it keeps me in touch with my family members that are far from me. You can join groups that you find interesting. And when you're bored, there's plenty of applications that fill your time. I think you should join.
