Positve test after 24 hours

Question

I have a question I took a walgreens pregnancy test it was positive the next day should i just don't worry about it since it was after 10 minutes are does it stay negative if its negative or what should I do. I'm going to take the second test tomorrow morning so I guess I will see then but I'm kind of wondering could I be pregnant

It sounds like an "evaporation positive" which is something that can just automatically happen to the test stick after a long time has passed. If the result was negative during the time period mentioned on the box, that is what you should pay attention to - throw the test away after that time has elapsed because any result after that could be false.

Ignore results after 10 minutes.

Wait until you miss your period and test again.

It may be an evaporation line, that's why they said to discard it after a certain amount of time.  You still could be pregnant, it could have been a false negative.  But I wouldn't consider this test a positive.

all tests turn pos after they have sat thats why they say look at results after a min or 2 take a 2nd test and ignore the 1st one
