Possibilty and probability

Hi, i have recently suffered a m/c, my 2nd this year infact, however in order to give my body time to heal i have gone back on my birth control pill (microgynon)... Started taking this 6days after d&c and had s*x 5days after this.. Has anyone been caught out this way, as in ended up pregnant again???? I want to wait for a wile before ttc again.

I agree...the first pack may not be effective as it takes your body time to absorb the pill. Say it wasn't effective, you would have had to ovulate on day 11-13 to conceive. Is this your normal ovulation time? Is your cycle 28 days or less? If it is, it is possible you had s*x during your fertile window. If you have longer cycles, sounds like you missed "the window".

well you are usually advised to use a back up BC method when you first go on the pill (for the first pack) because it takes time for it become fully effective, so depending on your cycle it is possible that you may have gotten pregnant
