Question:

Possible Computer Virus???

I share my home computer with my three siblings. Lately the computer has been running much slower than it used to. The computer is only one year old and I am not sure what to do. Practically the only site I go to is Yahoo or one of their sites (like Yahoo Answers). The other sites my siblings go to are:

Myspace

Youtube

AddictingGames

Mugglenet

Sidereel

Hotmail

Do you think any of these sites could have caused a virus? If so what should I do? Right now we really can't afford to get an anti virus (like Norton) so please don't suggest that. We have McAfee Security and on their scans nothing comes up. We also have PC Tools Spyware Doctor and they don't detect anything either. I still think we might have a virus because it is running so slowly. What advice do you have to get rid of the virus and how to avoid them in the future?

Thank you in advance!!! Any input is greatly appreciated!

*In case you need the information we have a Toshiba Laptop with Windows Vista
