I statred to have uti symptoms this afternoon. Burning when I pee and feeling to urge to go when flow is very minimal, however I found when I did go I was peeing out blood. It looked like I was spoting on my period. Also my lower to mid back on my left side is hurting, could this be my kidney? I am calling the Dr. in the morning. What do you think? And NO it is not an std. I am happily married for 6 years and very faithful to my spouse!

  1. With that pain, could be a kidney stone. If the pain "travels," (as the stone moves through the urethra) increase chance of stone diagnosis. Hematuria (blood in urine) is a symptom of other conditions, too. Definite MD - GP/Urologist eval for you, I'd say. Hope you feel better soon.

  2. A. Just because YOU are faithful doesn't mean it's impossible for you to get an STD.

    B. Yes, it very well could be a kidney problem. I've heard if UTIs go untreated for too long they can turn into kidney problems, that may not be the case for you but if your kidney is hurting it's probable that you have a kidney problem.

Edit: Just because your husband says he's not cheating doesn't mean he's not. I'm not saying he is, he could totally be faithful, but don't say it's impossible because there is a small chance, it's not the same thing.

  3. it's just the infection- it's happened to me once. it's best to get it checked out asap!

i've tried the uptake on vitamin C, and drinking cranberry juice (with minimal sugar) helps also. vitamin C will help kill the infection

  4. u sure ur not pregnant?
