  1. Eat a lot of dates, leafy greens: lettuce, spinach etc.

Avoid caffeine and don't drink tea with your meals. Tea can decrease the absorption of iron which is essential for preventing anemia.

  2. it's possible that you have anemia. Try eating a lot of red meat, which contains iron, however i wouldn't reccoment iron supplements since they should be taken under doctor's advice.

Try also to increase your vitamin B12 supplements in foods like  meat, liver, and kidney; fish, oyster, and clams; and milk, cheese and eggs and whole grain cereal.

I know the next advise will be kind of hard since you have a new born baby, but try to get some rest because it could also be caused by fatigue. However the dietary advices which i gave you are healthy anyway, so try to include them in your diet, with some rest and relax time.

  3. Sorry, I don't speak English well, I am Brazilian.

In  Brazil women that had baby  eat black bean with meat because this  foods that it has great amount of iron but  join they eat an orange with pulp, because the iron fix in the blood with the aid of the vitamin C, here in Brazil it is possible to buy sulfate ferrous and acid  ascorbic without medical prescription, if it is possible it consummates them with an orange with the pulp.

Attention, is not enough to drink orange juice, you have to eat the orange with the pulp, because the vitamin C is very volatile and in contact with the air it is rusted and it disappears.

I want that you recover and your baby is very healthy and happy.

  4. It is so easy to treat anaemia naturally when you are NOT a vegetarian. You have to eat lots of meat. Red meat. Beef. But beef has a lot less iron than liver, kidneys, and blood sausages (they sell those in a Polish delicatessen). But, you know don't just have those rich iron foods for dinner. I am talking breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Skip the deli cold cuts, you know salami, balogna, turkey roast etc.. Go for the iron. And, if you are interested, this is how you prepare blood sausages: 1. boil in water. Not so delicious. 2. Fry cubed onions, add the blood sausage (with removed intestine), stir for five minutes, done. Goes well with boiled potatoes or a slice of rye bread.  Bon Appetite.

  5. Most women have anemia if their are still menstruating and having a baby recently can decrease your numbers.  You can treat this yourself until you can get in to see a doctor.  Look up foods on the internet that are high in iron, there are iron supplements that are over the counter that will also bump up your numbers (same stuff that is given in prescription form should you see a doctor).  It takes several months to bump up your red blood cell count so don't expect a rapid improvement in your condition but this should help.

  6. eat liver its know to help build up blood
