Question:

Possible brain damage?

About 4 years ago I had a head injury to my forehead, and ever since then it seems like I can't concentrate very long. Also sometimes I will forget things after like a minute or two, and some days my brain feels like it "resets", like I will forget a ton of stuff. Also, the period after the injury is jumbled and i mostly don't remember it. Should I see a doctor

  1. YES GO AND SEE A DOCTOR

  2. My son injured his head several years ago when he was a small boy.  I took him to the doctor.  He was then transported to Children's Hospital for a crack in his skull.  He also had a tear in the lining of the brain which allowed brain fluid to seep out and air to enter the brain cavity.

He was placed on strict bed rest for a month and limited activities for several more months.  I had to take him back to the hospital once a week for many weeks until the air dissipated.

He has problems hearing on that side of his head still and probably will for the rest of his life.  He also has concentration problems.

I suggest you do have it checked out.  I pray the doctors are able to find a way to help you since this is not a new injury.

    God bless.
