Possible chess gambit?

I was thinking that for the Bishop's opening,

1. e4 e5 2. Bc4 Bc5 3. Qh5 Qf6

leading to

4. Bxf7+ Qxf7 5. Qxe5+ Qe7 6. Qxc7 Qxe4+ 7. Kf1 Qc6 8. Qe5+ Kf8

Not too sure if it would work though

  1. that leaves you down a Bishop though, and you only have 2 more pawns than the other person :( and he is more developed than you are. so I'm gonna have to say no to this one, but keep trying! :)

  2. 2...Nf6 and 2...Nc6 are way more popular than 2...Bc5, so you might not get to play this very often.  And that's a good thing since you don't have enough compensation for a piece.

    Edit:

After 7.Ne2, it's still not enough.  7...Nc6 is the best reply, and is also better vs. 7.Kf1.

These positions tend to be clearly winning for the side with the extra piece.  The two pawns are not enough, Black's king is not in any serious danger since Black is better developed, and the need to avoid further exchanges will only restrict white's options.

  3. I got to move 3 and saw that you are developing your Queen way too early. Develop a minor piece.  This gambit can't be sound because it violates basic rules of the opening.
