About three years ago I took a hard spill on a bike at about 40mph right onto my right shoulder. immediately it swelled up huge and felt like it was on fire and I had a lot of numbness and tingling in my hand much worse sharp pain than when I broke my clavicle I had a lot of numbness and tingling in my hand. went to the emergency room and the x-rayed it and they said it was just brused and to work it hard and it would heal sooner. It hurt very badly for about 9mo and was very painfull to move for about a year and a half. now three years later it still hurts especially after heavy lifting and aches constantly for days at a time. my clavicle visibly protrudes upward and if pressed down on can be moved independently from the rest of my shoulder. I do have full strength in it, it just aches for days after any extreme use. im only 22 and have a very physical job and love rideing motorcycles. so it seems like it hurts all the time, the pain is just getting old. should I go back to the doctor or am i just being a wuss?

  1. I seriously doubt the doctor can do anything for you at this late date, but just to prove it go.

This will test your wussness http://www.helium.com/tm/148271. Since it's an old injury it is going to be a major hassle to fix.

  2. i believe that u need to go back to the doctor and the sooner the better.

u are not being a wuss... if u continued to put this off u may wind up needing to have a complete shoulder repair done and that will not be good
