Heathcliff and Barnes accept the conflict of not being able to be with the one they love differently and their actions reflect the stereotypes placed upon them at the time, revealing the authors’ intention of using the character’s transcending conflict to stress the importance of the ongoing social affairs of the audience’s time period. The prompt was to compare two books: Wuthering Heights and The Sun Also Rises based on anything. I chose conflict and came up with the thesis above. However, I'm also supposed to fit all of THAT into a four paragraph essay. I'm doing my comparisons/contrasts point by point. Can anyone give me a rough outline of what I should write?
