Possible to use aircard (Alltel UTStarcom UM150) with xbox live?

I was wondering if I could possibly use my Alltel UTStarcom UM150 aircard with my xbox live. I contacted Alltel concerning the issue and they informed me that the Aircard gives out a static ip address, is there anyway to get around this? Or any instructions to follow to setup the device so it will be compatible with the xbox live?
