It seems as if life..

Has turned it's back on us at times

One man struggels to make a stand

Another one falls....

It's sad when no ones there...

I've seen good men turn

To evil ways.....

But very few return

Tention builds....or breaks

No one seems to care

Some trudge through life

With both eyes closed....

Afraid to face the sun

Yet there are some...

The really lucky ones...

Who reach out with hope...

And love some one.

A very nice sentiment, said well.  Spell checker would help.  You could try this if you think it is too patronizing "with myopic eyes,"

some people do fall by the way side, i have lost friends to drugs and drink, i like most of your poem, the one line i don't like is, some trudge through life with both eyes cloesd, it's kind of patronising.
