Post-car accident?

Question

im doing an english assessment and need to state the kinds of rehabilition and treatment people from car crashes go through after the incident.

any examples or suggestions appreciated :D

I was stopped because the car in front of me was stopped in the road ahead of me. The car coming up behind failed to stop. I saw her coming in my rear view mirror and cut my wheels to left trying to avoid the car in front of me. I almost missed them clipping the car's right rear bumper in front of me before I stopped almost hitting a utility pole. This right twist I did to avoid her car, and the hard blow from the car in behind me caused me have a severe whip lash. I was treated at a hospital and released, then after a few days I was having severe pains in my back and neck. I then went to my M.D. who sent me to a chiropractor and for physical therapy. I had to get a lawyer to sue as we both had same insurance co.

I received a small settlement from this ins. co. which barely covered my care. My condition has worsened over time and I now have trouble walking bending doing my housework etc.

and in constant pain.
