Post-doc salaries in UK

Question

HI,

I am planning to move to UK as a post-doctoral fellow and they offers me £25,888-£33,780 annum. It would be nice if someone could tell me how much tax they will take from this salary and an average living expenses in England (Oxford and Cambridge). I just wanted to know whether it is worth of moving from Germany to UK for Post-Doc.
