ive put on 5lbs on holiday from 143lbs to 148lbs :(

i want to aim to get back to 140lbs in about 3 weeks, is this possible?

im 5'8'' so my bmi is healthy but i feel bloated and dont feel comfortable with my body in the slightest- especially my blummin 38inch hips!! in comparison to a 34 bust size, im surely the prime example of a pear shape i look so out of proportion :(

could i drink lots of water and eat very little to kick start the weight loss?are cuppa soups ok (non creamy)to eat everyday and then chicken and veg (dont like salad)and cereal in a morning with no sugar?

i dont drink tea or coffee but i do have a sweet tooth so coul i replace my chocolate cravings with a hot chocolate?

i want to get down to 135lbs eventually what do i need to do to achieve this?

  1. that should be easy to loose that amount

  2. low carb diet and sensible exercise plan.  no potatoes, pasta, bread, and if your really strict banana sweetcorn and carrots and SUGAR and any fizzy drinks. try stick to under 10 grams of carbs per meal. eat any meats fish poultry, even processed like burgers etc, vegetables except that of the above, eggs, cheese and natural fats olive oil butter.

exercise depending on your fitness level, between 3-6 days a week in cardio, i.e jogging, sprints, cycling, circuits, yoga, Pilate's, anything to get a sweat on and your heart beat raised for over 20 Min's.

have 1 day off a week to eat what you want. only take it till your happy, then calm it down. hope this helps

  3. Aww, that's my story 24/7!

Even though I'm probably one of the healthiest eaters in the world (I don't touch sugar, chocolate, E-nos, white bread, sweets, most crisps, fried food, the list is just too long)... But this might help:

Eat filling foods like oaty stuff (I like Nairn's) and rye or wholemeal bread. They should have a high fibre content and will keep you feel fuller for longer. (The Village Bakery Borodinsky rye bread has 1.5% fat - it's a drrrream).

Sweeten things with honey instead of sugar. People find it disgusting but I live off the thing (littleover apiarie's pure english honey you can get in Tesco is lush). I have the exact same problem as you cos I love sweet food. I eat fruit for breakfast with raisins and my favourite is nuts and apples dipped into honey.  Oh, and switching norml choc with hot choc won't really help, but have you tried carob chocolate? It is natural, and so, so gorgeous.

This is the toughest one and the weirdest one, but it does get results: don't eat fruit with carbs (i.e. ceral and fruit) and proteins with carbs (i.e. breaded chicken or toast with bacon), It sounds oh-so strange but hey Mariah Carey lost a couple of st on this and my dad lost 10!  Vegetables go with anything though.

When you eat meat or carbs like bread, try and make a good 60% of your meal veg.

To help eat less, drink loads of water 20mins before eating a meal.

Eat no more than 40g of fat per day. Yeah daily guideline amounts say 70g but that's loads!

Ohh and one that I can never stick to: eat until you're about 7/10 full. Or 8/10, but you have to feel as if you'd like to have more but deep down, you're already feeling fullll.

REALLY SORRY if some of those sound weird but my family does all of those and they do work wonders! Sorry it was so long, e-mail me if you want more info cos 5 years of eating like that have taught me lots, haha.
