Post office employees?? Question about priority mail?

If I printed a priority label on-line and ship a box on saturday from my home will it require bar scanning at the post office or will it ship directly out since I already printed a label

It will not be scanned at your local PO. eDC, Delivery Confirmation, is only required to have a Delivery Scan. That is why it is provided to online postage users at no charge.
