Post offices tn?

Question

ok i know mail does not go out on sundays ...but say you sent something out on saturday early morning before collection time that was going to a different county...ok let me shorten this lol is mail still in route to get to destination on sundays or does it stop completly? if this is confusing i'll try to rephrase the question...

government employees in non-critical functions do not work on Sundays.  If your U.S. mail moves on Sunday, it's only because it didn't get in the U.S. mail system.   Sometimes UPS will be moving a box on a sunday, but it's not common.

Only Mail from Government Agencies, EXPRESS mail and EXTREMELY Urgent mail is delivered on Sundays.

All other mail continues to be shipped  from the postal distribution centers throughout the country on a Sunday, but is delivered to a Post Office starting at 12:01 a.m. on Monday Mornings.

On March 3, USPS® launched a new Express Mail Sunday and Holiday delivery service. For an additional fee of $12.50 your Express Mail article will be delivered on Sundays and federal holidays.

An Express Mail sticker will be applied to all Sunday/Holiday Delivery packages at their acceptance point.

This premium service, equal to competitor surcharges for Saturday delivery, reflects the unique delivery option the Postal Service provides on Sundays and holidays.

To request this service, simply request the delivery service for a Sunday or holiday from a retail associate if you are shipping from a postal retail unit. The associate will apply a yellow and black Label 25 to your package. If you are mailing via usps.com, simply select the option for “Sunday/Holiday premium.”  If you are using an Automated Postal Center (APC), you can select Sunday or holiday delivery.

Customers whose Express Mail shipments would arrive on a Sunday or holiday — and who want a lower-cost option — can choose to have their packages delivered on Monday or the next business day after the holiday at the regular Express Mail price.
