In the last couple of days, messages by myself and another member have been rejected because they supposedly contain a virus. The other members was marked as potentially spam and put into a pending list, but mine just bounced. I know for a fact that my email client sends only text so couldn't contain a virus.

  1. how were they rejected? the spam folder of a group is faulty- anyting that is snagged as spam generally never is spam. it may just be something in the subject line, or a link or signature that makes some system thinks there's a virus.

I'd do a scan of your computer and contact your mail provider

  2. A virus can attach it self to anything even a txt file..You need to first of all is do a virus check on your computer..and even if the soft where you think it  is work and getting them all doesn't always.. I had norton and thinking it was getting all the virus which it didn't.

go to this website and follow what it say..and if you have one and it could mean you have it and your sending it to the group and in return all your members will have it..if you find anything..pass the link onto them..this site is one of the good online scanners for free
