Postage cost of my parcel from NY USA?

I recently bought a car steering lock from a

ebay user in the US for $188 and not sure if the customs will charge their fee once i recieve it in the UK?

Anyone know of cheap method of postage form the NY USA to UK

Try UPS International or DHL. Both do a great job.
