My son has sent a packet containing a Memory card to me from USA by ordinary post. The postman delivered me the packet in opened condition without any contents therein. I have lodged a complaint with the Postoffice, Rajajinagar 1st Block, Bangalore on 07/07/08. But so far there is no response. Whom I have to complain for further action in this regard.

  1. sorry.. no one can take responsible.  most of the postal pockets are delivered openly.  whether packages are not covered properly or the damage due to throwing from one place to another place is not known.  if you make complaint, just they will enquire the delivered man, and the man who delivered will say something..matter over, enquiry over.  please checkup the contents received without missing.  thats all we can do.  if something in the parcel pocket missed, you can prefer complaint with the post office concerned with copy to headquarters and also a copy to the postal dept at america.

  2. Complain to the US Postmaster in the city he mailed the package from.  You can get the address by googling it.

  3. Probably customs.
