Postal codes anyone?

Does any1 know the postal code for ireland?

Plz if you know tell me.Its quite urgent!

Ireland does not have a national post code system, however Dublin has a post code system if you go to www.anpost.ie and look for an address you just have to create a account

depends what part of ireland you are talking about there are many postal codes like zip codes in the states

There isnt a postal code for Ireland at all.....there is a postal code for different areas of Dublin but not for the rest of the country but nit for areas outside the capital.

From the research I've done, it appears that Dublin City is the only one with postal codes the rest of the country have zones or something.  Your best bet is to head out to your local post office because they'll have the resources to best help you. Or, try it online at usps.com

The are many postcodes for Dublin. Pick a number 1 - 24.

We manage very well without postal codes at all, except for in Dublin, and in the North of Ireland which has the British system.  People outside Ireland find it hard to believe mail will reach me with just my name, town and county.  It would be the same for lots of rural towns, you'd need more info for bigger places or cities.
