What post offices let you send mail where the receiver will get the package at their door, and the receiver is the one who pays? (Also, what do you call that?) Thanks in advance!!

  1. There is only one Post Office - Canada Post.  And they only deliver to the door if the receiver lives in an area that has home delivery.  Anything else is a courier company.  You could check around to see if anyone will deliver COD, but I'm not sure you'll find anyone that does that.

  2. There's no such thing as the receiver paying the courier.  They won't just deliver something and hope that the receiver wants it and will pay them.

If you want the the receiver to pay, you need to work that out with them ahead of time (i.e.: adding shipping charges to the price of whatever product you're sending).

As for a courier in Canada, there's Canada Post, Purolator, DHL, UPS, and FedEx.
