I have to make a poster for my early Childhood Dev. Class. It has to be on ANY childhood issue...anything from seatbelt safety to nutrition. Needless to say this is a very VAST area, anyone have any creative ideas?? I can't seem to think of anything original. THanks!

  1. why dont you make a "how to" poster.like how to change a baby's diaper. tact a changing pad, a clean diaper, and wipes on it then bring in a baby doll or bear and demonstrate it for the class.. a how to brush a child's teeth, tact a kids brush and toothpaste, a cup and a face cloth...how to tie a child's shoe, tact several shoes on the board showing the stages of shoe tying. your possibilities are endless...good luck

  2. you could approach an abuse theme?  this seems kinda sick and maybe controversial but an abused child will surely have some developmental/emotional problems.  so, i dare you.

  3. Nutrition - get a picture of a cell and how it is nourished with good food and what it does to our bodies and then show a cell with junk food and the results of what it does to our bodies. Getting kids going on the right track for their brain food is important, because they are bombarded by all those commercials for junk food.

  4. Nutrition is a big issue nowadays. Why don't you show some foods and how they have grown portion size from when we were kids. Also too, exercise is a big thing, kids love thier videogames and computers, but show how just an hour of running around with friends could help child obesity. Good luck!

  5. safe s*x....lmao

  6. i think that seat belt safety would be neat. what you can do, is use different toys, and show some with seat belts, and others with out, and show what happens to the animals without their seat belts.

  7. making good decisions, like not doing drugs, not smoking, etc.
