Postin from england to ireland?

if i am sendin a letter from england to ireland wht do i need to write on the front and what stamp do i need to use??

  1. I persume you will need a stamp for postage overseas.

    As regards address, are you posting to the republic or northern ireland.

    If it is the republic you wont need a postcode,

    The address for the republic (Eire) would have ireland, republic of ireland or eire, in the last line of the address, any of these will go to the republic.

    Sending to northern ireland will require a different stamp, as it is part of the uk so it would be the same as sending a letter to scotland.
