Posting a parcel to Greece

If I send a small parcel from the UK to Greece-just by normal 1st class post-how long will it take to arrive?

Anything from 3 days to 3 weeks!

I have received many parcels from family, orders on the net from uk companies, friends etc since I have lived here & a few have been very quick, most have been here within a week, but I have learnt not to panic until I have waited 3 weeks! 2 parcels have taken that long.

It doesn't seem to make any difference whether it's airmail or not!

Asimenia, I realise the problem is the UK end, I am only stating how long parcels have taken to get to me!

The problem is in the UK NOT Greece - parcels from my sis take forever to leave the UK and parcels from me (Greece) to her take approx 4-5 days sometimes less!

You must have the parcel measures and weighed - you cannot just stick a stamp on it and send it!

i posted stamps i sold on ebay and it took 4 days.a bit of advice send it thru parcelforce and you will get a tracking no.so that if it goes missing the po will manage to find it for you it wont cost much more than a ordinary parcel.
