I'm sending a processor to Netherlands to get my RMA from UK, i sent it on the 28th of august. It's the 2nd of September today and the item still hasn't arrived. If anyone's had sent stuff to Netherlands before then how long did it take for the item to arrive?

  1. Canada post can take over a month and I always send it marked a gift to save then VAT tax.

Ive seen it take longer, but there mail is great, its better than most countries mail system.

  2. It does depend on how you sent it to be honest - DHL?  Normal surface mail? Airmail etc

Given that it will be a parcel and if it was courier you could track & trace online, then I assume you sent it via normal (surface) mail.

Good old Royal mail gives a wonderful answer of "2-12 weeks" so as to cover all eventualities

My experience (both with work and personally) is that for normal surface mail you should lean towards to 10 weeks mark. e.g. grandparents (UK) sent a toy car by post and it took over 3 months to arrive. However I have received things in 2-3 weeks, but then conversely have not received some things at all in the past!

It's my opinion that somewhere in the supply chain between the UK and NL mail services, that there is some gremlin who munches on parcels and letters. If you are lucky then he spits them out and you receive them sometime later, and if he finds them tasty then you can kiss it goodbye!

....seriously though, it does depend on how you sent it,but less than 1 week is very optimistic for normal parcel post.  I think you have to hold out for a while longer.
