  1. Post them as "GIFT" and make sure you fill in the little green card for customs and mark it as gift.

    Dont include invoices.

    Ive done it many times

  2. Drika is right. The post office is soooo much cheaper than Fedex besides the USPS also has a express mail if you want to get to brasil fast...  Make sure not to write on the receipt in the post office that you are sending lotions/creams.... wrap everything with newspaper... it should be fine...

  3. The Brazilian rule for items sent through the post is a limit of fifty US dollars worth per package. Anything over that has a hundred percent tax on whatever the value over fifty dollars. Customs are smart. By removing labels etc. you might or might not get through. They still have the right to evaluate the product as they think fit.

  4. Even considering that Victoria's Secret do ship to Brazil, the person that gets the products here might need to pay tax over them. I am not quite sure, but this is what happens when I order to deliver here.

  5. there may be some taxes that she'll have to pay when the package arrives here...

  6. Yupp, i know what you mean. Be sure to take all the tags and sticker prices off. Put them in a plain old box with NOO writing on it, because if it has writing on it and like a website address they WILL charge her taxes. I had family members who were chargedd R$350 reals in taxes because i made a mistake of shipping it in the wrong box with the price sticker still on it. As long as its in a plain box and no stickers on the products, you will be fine =) Boa Sorte, Tchau!

  7. I live in Sao Paulo and i just got VS bout 3 days ago .. Yes they do deliver and i would ask them to , cause fedex does not allow you to post Lotions . But the best way to send things to brazil is by the US post ( cheaper) takes longer but its alot cheaper .. And if you send something , dont forget to write its not for resale and if u can , descbribe it cheaper than the real price ;)

My friend sent me last xmas a "moon shoes" which was about 29 dollars ... FEDEX TAX: $407.00 US  . So be careful .. better wait longer .

  8. What you want to do is make sure they draw as little attention as possible when they're going through Brazilian customs. Whenever they see something arriving from the US, the natural instinct is to inspect it and then charge as many taxes as possible from it (and these taxes usually carry over to the person receiving the item.)

The very safest (but slightly more expensive) way to send a package to Brazil is through UPS. I have found them to be the most reliable whenever I ship something to my relatives, and the discreet packaging doesn't call a lot of attention. (Another major problem when the package arrives in Brazil is theft at the local post office.) Since UPS has offices all over the world, the package will be delivered by a UPS employee, or she will be able to pick it up from the UPS station if you arrange that beforehand. (That is what I suggest.)

And also, via UPS there is the extra encouragement of being able to track your shipment, and they offer reimbursement (in some cases) should your package get lost.

I think it'll be fine if you do that, good luck!

  9. Paga imposto de qualquer jeito!!

    Fazer o que né?

    Entre em contato comigo okay?

    Beeijos! ;)
