Posting to groups?

Question

Am I doing something wrong? When I reply to posts, the preview of the reply on the "messages" page includes bits and pieces from the message I am responding to... does that make sense?

And I am just wondering if I am doing something wrong, because no one else's responses seem to do that.

And why do some posts have like

<<

<< things all throughout them, and some don't?

I am just curious.

It is just a glitch in the yahoo.  And the &lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt; things are from copying and pasting or just forwarded stuff.  I have them all the time.  It is a hassle when you are trying to read your mail.  But I manage to read through the spaces.  Hope this helps.

if you&#039;re posting off the group, by default it contains the previous post. the reason why some have that and some do not is other&#039;s highlight it and then hit back space to remove it all prior to them typing. also, those who post from their e-mail, some providers do not use the &lt;&lt; at all.

well those are post that have been copied and pasted or fowarded ...as for posting its not you  iyts yahoo doing it  I know it is doing it to me at my group as well  they will get it fixed
