Postmodernism?

What affect or impact has postmodernism had on health and social care?

the period after the great war is filled with great new inventions and things and changes in every sector of soc.  health care went far ahead. longevity is obvious.  heart transplant in 1967 and plastic surgery for burn patients.  

with economic boom, we create a have-not segment of soc.  social care is still far behind as compared to the advent in capitalism.  with all the wealth of the world,  we shld do more and yet its too slow as this sector is not profit making and dependent on philanthropy.  poverty is a scourge that cannot wiped off but we can reduce it
