Postponement of Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan was very disappointing, says Hammad Azam - Cricket News Update
The emerging Pakistani all-rounder, Hammad Azam, on Tuesday expressed disappointment over the postponement of Bangladesh’s tour of Pakistan at the end of last month.
During an interview to Pakpassion, the 21-year-old right-handed batsman said that the whole Pakistan team was looking forward to play international cricket on home soil after three years, but the stay order from Dhaka High Court to postpone the
series for at least four weeks was very sad.
"The postponement of the Bangladesh team's tour of Pakistan was very disappointing for all of the players,” said the rookie all-rounder, who has never played an international match on home soil.
“We were really looking forward to play international cricket on home soil and for the matches to be postponed was very sad,” he added further.
Pakistan has not hosted an international match since the militant attacks on the visiting Sri Lankan cricket team's bus in March 2009. Six Sri Lankan players and their assistant coach was injured during the disgraceful incident. Since then, the Men in
