Pot Bellied pig owners answer please answer!?

Question

Okay i want a pig as a pet not to eat either so if you are going to say something mean please don't.Well if you have had a pig tell me what kind i should get? Are they easier than puppies? Do they get along with cats and dogs? I live in Ocean Springs,MS is it legal to have them here? Do they smell? Are they smart? are they nice? and should i get a boy or a girl? and put down any other info that i should know. oh and how do i get my parent to say yes
