I have a pot belly stove that has gone rusty on the top.

How can I restore this to it's former self?

What products do I need to use?

Thanks

  1. I used a very very fine grade of steel wool to sand off the rust on my antique stove and then use a product called Stove Black that worked great.

  2. Clickety is right! Steel Wool or 320 grit sandpaper, then use stove black. You could paint it also(by brush) but get the high heat kind they make it just for stoves. Byee
