I just got invited to a house warming party this Saturday for some friends and we were asked to take something because it's a pot luck. The people that will be going are all a bunch of guys that work on cars all the time and I'm sure there are more then a few that will be picky eaters! So I'm stuck on what to bring or make. I'm looking for something fairly inexpensive and easy to make. I'd rather not just buy something, I'd like to make it and have ppl go mmm and ooh and ahh lol. Any ideas?

    6.  Jalapenos cut the long way.....take out the seeds....put some cream cheese in each one......wrap 1/2 piece of bacon around it, secure with tooth pick......wrap in foil........put on the barbee or in the oven until the bacon is cooked.  Can be served hot or cold.

  7. try this recipe there is a calculator to up the recipe to how many servings you will have. It says to use a 9X13 pan but I use those huge foil ones that you do a turkey in. I leave out the onion, salt, pepper, and cream of chicken soup. I subsitute the cream of chicken for cream of mushroom. Sometimes all I do is use cream of mushroom.  Its quick and easy. Its faster to let the potatos thaw out and its better to use frozen than fresh. When it bubbles its ready. I usually end up cooking mine when it is a really large quantity for 2 to 3 hours. And I don't add the topping until the last 30 minutes of cooking so it doesn't burn. I tried it out at a family reunion of very picky eaters and didn't have any leftovers.
