  1. Both are forms of essential minerals. The Potassium will help for cardiovascular and metabolic maintenance, energy utilization, and is one of the vital electrolytes. The Magnesium will help for bone (when taken with Calcium), muscle, and Cardiovascular health, plus it helps nervous system function.

The Phosphate part of either of those is basically the molecule the mineral is bonded to to help your body accept and absorb it properly.

  2. along with the other electrolytes, potassium is used to conduct nerve impulses, iniate muscle contractions and regulate heartbeat and blood pressure,Potassium also enables the body to convert blood sugar [glucose]- its primary fuel- into a stored form of energy [glycogen] that is held in reserve by muscles and liver.Magnesium levels are easily depleted by stress, again magnesium is used in energy production, nerve function, muscle relaxation and bone and teeth formation.Phosphate means compound of phosphorus, binded with other mineral. hope you found this useful.
