Potential interview questions... please help!?

I have been invited to an interview for a Finance Junior for a solicitors firm which focuses in personal injury and employment law.

In my letter they have told me I will bbe interviewed about the following:

-Communication

-IT skills

-Orgainising/prioritising

-Teamworking

-Confidentiality

Do you have any ideas what would be good points to bring up on these subjects??

Also it says I will have to complete an excercise to test my ability on excel and telephone skills.... what could this be?

They will most probably ask competency-based questions.  These are questions which begin with "tell me about a time when ..." or "describe a situation where ..." and it's important that you can give them specific examples of when you have used such skills in the past.  It's quite difficult to answer these questions well because they tend to be long, so by the time the interviewer gets to the end you may have forgotten the first part, so you really need to concentrate!  But make sure that you are answering what is being asked and giving specific examples, and you should do fine.

An Excel test will be a test where you are given exercises to complete in Excel within a particular timeframe.  I've done these tests when registering with agencies and some of them are okay, but there are some of them that don't allow you to use shortcuts so if you're used to doing things this way you may struggle.  But no-one expects you to get a perfect score - usually 70% or higher is good enough.

I have done one telephone test before, and it involved being sat in a different room to someone else.  The other person then called me and gave me a message, which I had to transcribe accurately.  They're also listening to your phone manner while they do that.
