Potomac River?

Question

I might be fishing there in October not a definate yes because I have to be in the top six and I am in 7th in my club. Our tournaments don't end till september but just in case I do make it any tips for the potomac river for this year. It is for largemouth and smallmouth

the potomac does not have a large population of bass. the best bass places are near the washington moument and that has 3-6 pound smallmouth bass and 2-4 pound largemouth bass if you want to fish for catfish fort washing has a large population of 30+ pound blue catfish and is where there has been a few 60+pound cats well good luck and good fishin
