Pottery Project?

Question

My teacher has given me this project: make anything you want!

But, I have been stuck for a few days now and I can't think of anything I really want to do.

It can be made on the wheel as well.

Any ideas?

Tea cup (look through some Japanese art books)

Bowl

Jewelry bowl or ring holder

Butter Dish

Tray -- This can be cool because you can use many found objects as forms:  tractor seats, painting canvas (all sizes and shapes), wicker baskets, etc.  If you roll the clay, then place it in the form and let it dry, it will hold the shape and texture of your form.  Very cool.

How about a pinch pot person or creature? I just did this project with a class of 5th graders and they loved it. I realize you are older but I had a blast making the examples and it was challenging. Here is the link to the directions:
