What helped you with getting your little girl not to wet the bed anymore at night.

My daughter just turned 3 years old 2weeks ago and she seems to keep her underwear dry during the day it's just at night and I stop letting her have any thing to drink at 6:30pm since her bedtime is 8:30pm but she still seems to wet the bed at night.

  1. i found that stopping drinks at 6pm and giving my girls drinks at meal time's worked. and when ever they wanted a drink in the mean time I'd only give them a little in a cup or a ice pop as ice pop's is just as good as a drink of pop. and make a sticker chart help your child see how many dry nights should have, and reward your child with a sticker every dry night will help. even promise your child a little treat when they have do a few dry nights and a bigger treat when they've been dry for 7  nights it worked for me

  2. A lot  of times, it's a physical issue.  It can take a kid up to being 4 -5 years old to be able to hold it at night.  We just kept pull ups on her at night, until she decided to call for us when she had to go potty.  After a few weeks of taking her, she's dry through the night, without any trips to the bathroom.  Just let her decide. There's not really much else you can do except to just keep telling her if she has to go let you know.

  3. oooh i have that same problem my daughter will not wear pull ups as we took off nappys she will not wear a pull up so when she wets i have to change the bedding which can ruin the bed i have started a smiley chart for this so fingers crossed we ll crack this together x

  4. I was lucky with my kids but when raising my nephew it was a different story.  Since he went to be early and I didnt go to bed til late I would get him up and take him to potty. I wanted him to stay dry that way he would learn to be unconfortable when wet or when bladder started to get full. Yes it was torcher for awhile but it worked.  I also had a friend that did it with her son. She would set her alarm every so many hours and get up with him take him to the potty didnt matter if he was half asleep as long as he went sat down and tried. After 21 days it developes into a good habit.  That is how this Mom Aunt and Grandma attacks the problem

  5. She probably just has a small bladder, and she's still learning to control herself while she's asleep! I had to help my son to the bathroom in the middle of the night until he was 8 years old. Throw a pull up on her, and help her out by taking her for a trip to the bathroom before you hit the sack at night. Good luck!

  6. So it might last till like shes old old old. Dont worry.

  7. It's purely a developmental thing.. once their brain starts secreting a particular hormone in their sleep they won't wee.. before that they will..  When she is ready she'll just become dry.. don't stress my daughter was nearly 5 then 1 night she was dry and has never wet bed since (she's now 12)..  Just leave pull ups on her and wait... don't stress it's all normal! :-)

  8. Put her in night time training pants. She probably can't help it.
