Potty training my yorkie poo?

we got him a few months ago and we are not having good luck potty training him. he sleeps in a childs play pen and he dosnt go to the bathroom in there. when we take him out of the play pen the first thing we do is take him outside to go to the bathroom but when we bring him back in almost imedatly he poops on the carpet andd pees. what can we do we seam to have tried everything

Make sure it pees and poops outside!

Everytime you take your dog outside say a phrase like, "Time to go potty!" and when he potties in the house so "NO go potty in the house go outside" and take the dog outside.
