what i dont understand how pavlik is at number 9 rank pound 4 pound

yeah he beat taylor and never beaten a top 10 boxer in his weight...

taylor never was that high what about the orthers who had 10 title fights?        

some have not been beaten. he was not top 100 2 years ago.....so why the big jump?  as most boxers have 10 fights title fights and will never  get in the top 10....

i like him and he is good but he should not be that high like cotto is number 7.....and way in front of him in terms of fights titles and everything...

i think the usa have to have more than one in at a time...

Manny Paquiao right now is the best pound for pound.

Calzaghe is over rated.  He beat Kessler - OK.  "Left Hook" Lacy was never that good, and he beat Hopkins who is an old man and still knocked him on his azz in the 1st round, if Hopkins could've thown more he woulda pulled out the decision.  Roy Jones is gonna do him up watch.

Next I would say Wladamir Klitschko because he's taken on all comers and ended up on top - although I would like to see a Samuel Peter rematch.

#3 would be Juan Manuel Marquez - even though I feel he lost the Barerra fight and lost to Pacman I still give him his props.

You know it would have been Miguel Cotto but he was KO'd last week, so the claim still belongs to Manny Pacquiao. In my opinion the P4P should go for fighters who fight the best in two or more divisions and not lose for a period of time. Manny Pacquiao has done that since 2001.

Bernard Hopkins would have beaten Joe Calzaghe easily if he was younger - certainly if is was Prime for Prime and Jones Jr would beat Calzaghe easy if he was younger.

In my opinion Calzaghe only wants to fight because Jones Jr is now old

Though, I had Manny Pacquiao as number one long before the Cotto-Margarito fight, I think Cotto's defeat may have sealed the deal for Pacquiao being number one. Though he is not undefeated, I think the fact that Pacquiao has been constantly moving up in weight and beating formiddable opponents is the reason, I would give him the spot over Calzaghe.

Joe Calzaghe, despite what others may think about him, would be two on my list, even over Kelly Pavlik, simply because Calzaghe has been doing his thing in the ring longer than Pavlik.
