urijah faber

george st pierre

fedor emelianenko

bj penn

anderson silva

I don't think there is any denying this. Urijah Faber! I don't think any of the other fighters up there have close to as much heart as this guy. I just can't imagine this guy being 205 lbs and not dominating everyone out there.

next.. I'm gonna have to say gsp. why? I think he's close to being as well rounded as anyone out there and we haven't even seen his best yet. Wait til he's the complete package.. we might actually see that side of him tomorrow night.

Fedor..he should probably be higher up or equal with gsp, but its hard to say. I dont think however that he is a better fighter than urijah. but i might be wrong putting him below gsp.

im gonna have to go with penn for this one. TECHNICALLY THIS GUY IS SUPERB. The way I saw him destroy someone once was incredible. but gsp beat him already so i don't think you can put him ahead of him.

silva..as much as i wanna say yeah he's great, im not gonna say anything until i see him fight more quality opponents. I think irvin was just someone dana white through out there to ensure that silva becomes a money making machine for his future fights at 205. now all your gonna see on his fight preview reels is that one punch knocking irvin out, not even going into depth about the skill irvin lacked. They knew what would happen to irvin. I think he needs to fight someone like machida next. I think machida would be an interesting match with silva because as we've seen with machida and ortiz, machida plays a real technical defensive game, he's not a risk taker. I don't think anderson silva we'll have an easy time striking with him because machida is nasty at fighting backing up. soukodjou got it handed to him trying to strike with machida, I don't think there are many people that counter as good as machida. in all honesty, i think machida should be on this list, to honest and defensive not to be.

  1. hehe ur in the boxing section son, but ya id go with uriah , beat jens pulver, was an awesome fight!

  2. are you serious with this faber being the best p4p fighter? he's not even on most peoples list, penn would dominate him!  Faber goes to Hilo, HI to train with penn,  so he knows what would happen if they fought.  They are a lot of fighters that would beat faber at this point,  he's good but not great yet, Torres might just beat him if he moves up for a super fight, but I think Tyson Griffin might just beat thim if they fought again.  I do think he's the best 145 guy right now though, but like I said Torres would be a good fight.

also did you see fador murder syliva? he's never really lost, only once for a cut, then beat the *** off the guy in the rematch.

I just want to see the gsp fight tonight with fitch.

Penn I think will beat gsp if they fight again, he was dominating the 1st round and gassed, but I still kinda think he won that fight cause it could have been stopped in the first round. gsp did show heart though, but if penn's in shape I think he wins a desion or a ko cause if serra can knock him out then penn can too.

and silva most likely won't fight machida they train together and are friends, but I'd like to see it.

    anyway my list

1.Fedor-never been submitted or ko'd or even decisioned in a fight.

2.Silva-never been ko'd, crazy accurate striking.

3.Penn-maybe best overall fighter, and 1 p4p if he beats gsp.

4.GSP-maybe higher if not for the serra loss.

5.Then I guess, Faber right now, But I think he loses to a lot of the top light weights in the world right know.

and no penn has punching power and better sumbmission skills than faber, and yes I was smoking.

  5. GSP

  6. Anderson SPider SiLva

  7. MANNY "PAC-MAN" PACQUIAO from the Philippines is the actual pound 4 pound boxer right now..

  8. i am FOOL !  i never been beat....this one time, some big @ss Apollo Creed looking mutha  pushed me to the ground.....you know what i did? i threw dirt in his face, and when he was wiping it out of his eyes,  i kicked him in the nuts...he fell to the ground, holding his crotch, and i kicked him in the stomach, and when he was on the ground saying he'd had enough, i stomped on his head.....i'd do the same thing to fedor, anderson silva, who ever.....i am the baddest dude! P4P....and i'm only 165....P4P h**l yeah! show me some love !

  9. #1 Fedor

    #2 Silva

    #3 GSP

    #4 Faber

    #5 Penn

  10. From the list you gave, probably Emanialenko.  Far as combat sports period, as far as raw technique is concerned, its a toss up between Mayweather and Paquiao.  Hey, I've seen "Pacman" in action; he's good.  Real good.  No Robinson but still really good.  Again though, I think that's a toss up, call it how you want it.

Let me put it in perspective; if either Mayweather or Pacquiao were made Emanialenko's size they'd kick his @ss.  In terms of raw slugging technique and instinct, the only thing Fedor has on those guys is size and power, which considering if it only has just enough size and power, especially in a sports context, it will make a difference.  The only way, in boxing, or any combat sport competition, where "size doesn't matter," is if the boxer in question is a dodging artist, like for example "the legendary Athenian."  The modern world of boxing though has not produced a single fighter who went their entire career without ever being cleanly hit.  The Athenian, the worst that was ever done to his face, was a cut above one of his eyes, the fighter missed a punch just barely missing him, and one of the iron studs on his fists cut him above the eye.

So the legend says; there is no historical evidence for "the legendary Athenian" although, I'll admit the story IS pretty intriguing.  To box so well, you never get hit.  Ever.  Now THAT would be a fighter to watch!

    peace.

  11. Penn- His fights speak for themselves. The guy may not be the best athlete but he has the best fighting instincts in MMA! and anybody who saw him go against GSP knows that he beat himself that night (at least people who REALLY know MMA ).. although he did arguably win that fight.. plus he was DOMINATING Hughes the second time before he hurt his ribs doing some odd maneuver (so he should be 2-0 against him)

GSP- He was outstanding against a VERY tough Fitch.. It was one of the most impressive wins for anybody this year. The Penn fight should determine the best lb for lb guy in MMA.

Fedor- The Silvia win was very important for him, and he looked awesome!

Anderson Silva_ I like the guy, but it just seems like he has nobody to fight! The 185 lb division is the weakest by far in the UFC! Thats why they are bringing in the WEC to bring some life back into it! In the next couple of months we will see how good the spider really is.

Urija is good but seriously! He is not in Penn's league! He has not been in with the same guys Penn has! If they where to ever fight witch I doubt!!! He would be a HUGE underdog for a good reason!
