Poured Gas down the Drain!!?

I puored gas down the drain withot knowing its harmful and then a day later the sewer sytem backed up it was about a pop bottle of gas. The sewer sytem has done this before. culd it be from of the gas??

  1. no..the pipes are old and pluged up no connection to the gas
