Pourquoi toute les agences en france n'avient pas un addresse email?

It seems that no french companies want to be contacted, for example Orange, (France Telecom), Rue de Commerce, (internet vendor???), amongst others?

Non Pascalou, but if you have a business you better have and use Internet, more so in tourism.

I never understood why they don't use it more or answer e-mails? in many developing countries you can find Internet cafes in small towns and they are full. Maybe France is not developing anymore!

I mean, of course I have internet at home, and use it daily, but for personal purposes only...

I also understand internet can be a good way to expand your business but there are so many other ways !

If your market is local, I don't think it would be worth spending thousands of € in a web site !?

I think you're exaggerating slightly - what I've noticed is that there's quite a lot of variety in the way you can make contact with various agencies. Virtually everyone offers a phone number of some kind, some offer an email address, and some offer an online chat type of environment.

We like to travel around Europe by car, and I always make our independent arrangements on the 'net.  Austria, Germany, and Italy are very internet-savvy, but France is in the stone age.  Maybe the Academie Francaise is interfering with internet development so it won't have a chance to corrupt the French language.  (I still love France as a place to visit.)

Seriously, there's this cultural thing over there...to get any kind of service, you have to show up in person.  They don't treat phone exchanges as real business, and I imagine the same thing is true of internet requests.  They figure that if you're serious about something, you'll show up in person to take care of it.

Very irritating when you're trying to get your electricity, phone, etc hooked up...
