I am going to Disneyland paris and will need cows milk for my 18mth old daughter. Do they make a special powdered milk for babies or is there a regular one I could get. As I will have nowhere to keep normal cows milk fresh.

Many Thanks ?

  1. You can find Powdered Milk usually in the baking goods aisle (flour, sugar, etc.).  Sometimes I think it's where the dehydrated potatoes are too.....

    Bon voyage!

  2. Nestle Good Start 2- its a formula that is made for babies age 9-24 months. My baby is on the regular Good Start formula, but when he turns about 11 months I will be switching to Good Start 2. I would take the suggestion as mentioned above to make sure that you take your own bottled water though. Good Luck to you. The following is from their website:

If you’re looking for nutrition insurance, there’s no better choice for your older baby and young toddler than GOOD START 2 DHA & ARA. Recommended for babies 9 to 24 months old, it’s specially designed to be a nutritious alternative to standard formulas and whole cow’s milk, especially when there’s a gap between what babies eat and what they need.

GOOD START 2 DHA & ARA provides nutrition that can be difficult to get from an older baby’s diet that includes solid foods. Baby’s (solid-food) diet may not provide her with the daily nutrition requirements such as the calcium and iron older babies need.

A nutritious alternative to whole cow’s milk for toddler’s 12-months and older, each 8-ounce serving of GOOD START 2 DHA & ARA contains:

32 times more iron (nearly 1/3 of Baby’s daily needs) than whole cow’s milk

As much vitamin D and calcium as whole milk

More of important nutrients like iron and vitamins C and E

DHA & ARA, nutrients found in breastmilk that help support healthy brain and eye development and can be hard to get through a toddler’s solid-food diet

Just three 8-ounce servings1 per day of GOOD START 2 DHA & ARA help you ensure that your older baby receives the nutrition you can feel good about.2 And it’s the only older-baby and young toddler formula with COMFORT PROTEINS® specially designed for easy digestion

  3. You could buy some of the Parmalat milk.  That is more like regular milk but it does not spoil, does not need to be in a fridge etc.  I would be careful with the powdered milk unless you buy bottled water, and even then be careful.  Your baby's system will not be used to the water over there and it may make your daughter's belly sick.
