Power Button on XBox 360?

My power button on my 360 is blinking. It is still green, but the middle of the button is blinking. All I hear is the fan, not the game. It won't allow me to open the game holder. What's happening? What do I do?

You might have accidently pressed the SYNC button.  Press the sync button on your controller to get it back

this happend to me to, first check all of your connections from the xbox to the tv in case its just connection problems, alls i did was hold the button down until the fan shuts off, keep holding it until it turns back on and it should be working. what happened is that a disc was either put in and it was barely hanging out of the holder and jammed it up, it fixed itself but didnt know it.lol. well, thats wat happend to me.
