  1. the Power-I is more easy to pick  up for kids. The Wing -T can get complicated with misdirection and blocking assignments...

  2. wing T could be a little more complex, but they're both pretty easy

  3. Power I i would say has to be easier to teach young kids its more straightforward there aren't many "curveballs" thrown at the kids then.

  4. The Power I is easier I believe. If you keep the wing back in the slot and then you can move the wing back and run plays from the Wing T or Full House backfield as they progress. You'll have a lot fun no matter what O you choose.

  5. They are both equally easy to teach to kids.  The Wing has more of a potential of get complex because there are 3 backs involved.  Also, the motions and and timing might mess them up.  I would probably just go with the Power I unless you have 3 solid RB's.  Just run some simple Iso and Power Toss plays and then work in the trap later.  The most complex the Power I will get is the Option.

  6. The Power I is a pretty basic offense.  It's easy to teach and easy for kids to learn.  The Wing T is a bit more complex (but still pretty simple compared to most offenses) with different blocking schemes, proper steps for backs, how the qb opens up, etc.  The Wing T also has a bit more potential to be more productive mainly because the blocking schemes can open up big holes (there are a lot of cross blocks, guard pulling, and kick-outs).  Since it is for youth football, I would recommend the Power I.  You can still be very productive with it, and you won't have any trouble teaching it to younger kids.  Good luck!
