Power OK to base, but frother has no power

Question

I heated milk without the frother yesterday and this morning, the frother doesn't work. The light doesn't go on, but when tested,the base has electicity. Do I need to replace the whole unit or is there some way to open up the bottom and repair something inside? Thank you!
